Ecole Routhier School in Falher is looking for a full time, English Kindergarten teacher from February 1, 2013 to June 30, 2013 with possibility of extension into the 2013-14 school year. The successful candidate will receive a Temporary contract with the High Prairie School Division.
Ecole Routhier School is located in the Francophone-based community of Falher, Alberta. With a student population of approximately 260 students, the school prides itself on an ability to offer quality instruction to students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 in a dual track program of French Immersion and an English program. All staff and students operate on the basis of six core beliefs with a vision that every student and staff can achieve success at Routhier. The school is situated in the heart of northwestern Alberta?s Smoky River region ? an area comprised of approximately 5,000 residents ? and is predominantly driven by agriculture and apiculture sectors as well as the oil and gas industry.
Requirements:
-Candidates must have completed a Bachelor of Education Degree and be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
-All candidates selected for an interview must produce an ORIGINAL, acceptable, recent (less than six months old) RCMP Criminal Records Check at time of the interview. Criminal Record Check must include CPIC, Vulnerable Sector and Local Indices Search.
-At least three professional references should be included with your resume.
