We?re in a celebratory mood here at Debenhams ? after all, we have just been crowned ?Favourite Lingerie Retailer? of the year?
The winners of the second UK Lingerie Awards were announced at a stunning event at One Mayfair in London, on Wednesday, September 19th.
Hundreds of guests, turned out in their finery for the event, where champagne and Crystal Head vodka flowed long into the night with the Swing Ninjas keeping guests entertained ? and Debenhams, of course, was there.
Celebrity attendees included the likes of Sarah Harding, TOWIE?s Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone, Maria Fowler, Natasha Hamilton, McFly?s Danny Jones, Phil Turner, Made in Chelsea?s Victoria Baker Harber and Lizzie Cundy.
The UK Lingerie Awards is an annual event hosted by the UK?s leading intimate apparel magazine Lingerie Insight. Each year, a panel of prestigious judges recognises the best brands, retailers and designers in the industry for their incredible achievements.
Sixteen categories are voted for by the panel, three special Consumer Awards are voted for by the public via the UK Lingerie Awards website and one final Award ? the Lifetime Achievement Award ? is selected by the Lingerie Insight team.
Lingerie Insight editor Kat Slowe said of the event:
?The UK Lingerie Awards was an absolutely stunning event. It is our gesture of appreciation for the work that is carried out day-in-day-out by those working to make our industry special and recognise the best of the best in the UK intimate apparel industry. The competition for each of the categories was incredibly fierce and the winners? trophies act as a testament to the astonishing talent and hard work that it took to climb to the pinnacle of their respective fields.?
