The second quarter was wrapped up at the end of June, and it?s time to take a look at the numbers.? Congratulations are in order for the top agents in the Davis office of Coldwell Banker Doug Arnold Real Estate (CB DARE).
For Listing Side Volume in Davis for the second quarter, Chad DeMasi was the No. 1 agent.? The other top Realtors were Julie Partain, Jamie Madison, Malek Baroody, and Cory Gold.
Jamie Madison was the No. 1 agent in Buyer Controlled Sales.? The other top agents in this category were Chad DeMasi, Julie Partain, Brenda Fletcher, and Matt Dolcini.
Jamie Madison, the No. 1 agent in Buyer Controlled Sales as well as the No. 1 agent for Total Production and one of the top five agents in Listing Side Volume, understands that with real estate things unfold in their own time, and there is no way to predict when the magic will happen.? She says, ?My objective is to have the best possible outcome for my clients.? If that means deciding to stay where they are, that is fine.? If it means trying to find more money or a better loan so they can make something happen, that is fine too.?? It?s all worth it when things work out, and she says, ?The best part of my job is when we close on a purchase or a sale.?
Chad DeMasi, the top agent for Listing Side Volume and one of the top five for Buyer Controlled Sales is a second-generation Realtor.? He grew up and works in Davis, and he understands that as a Realtor it?s his job to be a resource for his clients.? He strives to be available to his clients day or night, and to answer whatever questions they might have.? This availability leads to strong relationships, and those relationships are part of the reason his clients turn to him when they want to buy or sell a home.
Julie Partain was named as a top agent for both categories.? She says, ?I love hearing from my clients after they move in to their new home and how happy they are, and they thank me for being their Realtor.? My heart skips a few beats when I get those calls!? To get to that point, Julie works hard to make sure the transaction goes smoothly and that everyone involved is happy.? She shares, ?From day one, I strive to make the experience of buying or selling a home a positive one for everyone.?
Cory Gold, named as one of the top five listing agents, sees his award as a reward for all the hard work he puts in for his clients.? He says, ?A lot of work goes in behind the scenes so the transactions appear smooth and seamless.?? But at the end of the day, it?s worth it, he says for ?The satisfaction of helping a buyer or seller?s dream come true.?
Malek Baroody, also named as one of the top five listing agents, has more than 30 years of real estate experience in Yolo County.? Malek uses his experience to act for his clients, handling each transaction the way he would manage his own purchases.? He says, ?Real estate transactions are more complicated than people might imagine.? We make the process easier for our clients.?
Matt Dolcini, named as one of the top five Realtors on the buyers? side has been with CB DARE for 10 years.? One of his favorite parts of being a Realtor is getting to explore all of the great homes that are up for sale.? But more than that, Matt feels strongly about the people he works with, and he truly enjoys his relationships with clients.? He says, ?I know its cheesey, but I like helping people.? I get the opportunity to form all kinds of great friendships because of my job.?
Brenda Fletcher, named as one of the top five on the buyers? side, also sees the award as recognition for her hard work and dedication.? She credits her success with being proactive and working behind the scenes.? Brenda says, ?I?m always looking for unexpected pitfalls and solving little problems before they become big road blocks.? It?s my job to make sure it looks easy, but there are a lot of details to orchestrate.? Brenda has two parts of the job she really enjoys.? She says, ?I love negotiating offers.? It feels so good to help people get what they want.? And, of course, meeting buyers with the keys to their new house.?
For the Coldwell Banker Doug Arnold Real Estate office in Woodland, Calif.,, Karen Hulbert was the No. 1 agent for Listing Side Volume, with Ashley Arteche and Stacy Gonzalez in the top three.? For Buyer Controlled Sales, Katie Kirwin was the top spot, with Karen Hulbert, and Tara Aubrey also in the top three.? The top agent for Total Production was Karen Hulbert, and rounding out the top three were Ashley Arteche, and Stacy Gonzalez.
Karen Hulbert has extensive experience working in real estate in Yolo County, where she was originally licensed in 1987.? She worked full-time, then took a few years off, and went back to full-time in 1998.? Karen has been with CB DARE since the beginning of 2012, and it looks like things are going great for her.? For the first half of the year, she was named the top agent for Listing Side Volume, in the top three for Buyer Controlled Sales, and the top agent for Total Production in the Woodland office.? Karen consistently tries to go above and beyond what her clients expect, she says, ?I answer my phone well into the evening and on the weekends. I am dedicated.?? Another piece of her success is her understanding of the market.? She believes that to be successful in real estate, you need to do it full time.? She says, ?Real estate is hard work.? You need to be current on the properties for sale and the market trends.?? But all that hard work pays off when she gets to see the job through to the end.? She says, ?My favorite part is congratulating clients on their closings.?
Ashley Arteche was named one of the top agents for Listing Side Volume, and a top three agent for Total Production in the Woodland office.? Ashley attributes her success to listening to her clients and making sure she continues her own education.? She says, ?I work with my clients on the financial side, to make sure they are making a good, smart decision.?? She sees her job as a Realtor as a good financial choice for her clients, because her knowledge and skills helps her clients save money.? But ultimately, she sees her job as helping clients with their particular situation ? whether it is buying a home, or getting out of a bad home situation.? She says, ?I want to help my clients reach their goals, whatever they may be.?
Stacy Gonzalez was also named in two categories for the second quarter ? she was in the top three for Listing Side Volume, as well as in the top three for Total Production.? Stacy is happy with her awards because to her, they represent a happy client and a job well done.? One way Stacy stays on top of her game is by always learning about real estate and the changing market.? She says, ?Education is key in being able to talk to my clients about new loan programs, available grants, our market, home values, and the ever-changing short-sale process.?? By staying informed on all of the changes, she provides her clients with options, helping them make a good decision while keeping frustration and aggravation to a minimum.? She says, ?My purpose is for my clients to be so outrageously happy with the help I provide, that they will gladly introduce me to their family, friends, and people they care about.?
For Buyer Controlled Sales, Katie Kirwin was the top agent.? Katie has been in the real estate industry for 20 years, and she has extensive experience with mortgages and titles, giving her an advantage with some of the more technical aspects of the process.? She can spot potential problems with the paperwork, and deal with them before they become large problems.? Katie doesn?t want her clients to associate her with trouble and bad news, so in her words, ?I try to make efficiency a priority. I want my clients to be around after the sale.?? But bottom line, Katie loves real estate, and she says, ?I love to do it all!?
Tara Aubrey was also named in the top three agents for Buyer-Controlled Sales.? Tara loves working with people, and she says, ?I love working hard to make people happy.??? She finds that through pleasing her clients, she earns referrals, which leads to more clients. ?Tara also has a background and a love of decorating, which she uses to help clients stage homes before selling, and help clients decorate their new homes after closing.? Tara describes herself as, ?a little unconventional ? I try to do more and do things differently to give my clients the personal touch.?
